The virtual fashion runway show organised by DGA Threads and Ageing Asia presents Singapore’s home grown fashion designer, Pino De Giosa’s newest wearable art collection targeted at the up and coming fashion expectations led by the new economic powerhouse - Asia Pacific’s ageing baby boomer generation.
A new generation of older people that are willing to experiment, looking for comfort and want to look great and feel great as they age. This new collection will be designed by active ageing entrepreneur and fellow baby boomer, 69 year old, Pino, and Italian born who calls Singapore his second home.
Baby boomers (born 1946 -1964) in Asia Pacific will lead the silver economy and drive change in product innovations across all industries. Ageing is a social and economic opportunity. The concept behind the Virtual Fashion Runway Show - When Boomers have Fun will be the first fashion event in Asia Pacific that embraces the physical changes of an ageing body, with wearable art, fun, creativity and comfort.
