The Ageing Asia 2020: World Ageing Festival (The hybrid edition) concluded a 23-day of knowledge exchange and sharing from a stellar line-up of over 200 global leaders through a curated showcase of virtual sessions from 2 November, leading up to the LIVE event that was held from 24 – 25 November in Singapore.

A hybrid edition of Ageing Asia’s annual flagship Ageing Asia Innovation Forum & Exhibition, the World Ageing Festival was created to be even more inclusive to combat the challenging climate posed by the pandemic; create more engagement possibilities between older people and the eldercare sector, and most importantly continue Ageing Asia’s mission for global knowledge exchange and to foster industry friendships.

This year's programme has been specially curated to discuss life in the new normal for the health and eldercare sector - from facilities showcase and philosophy, new research and innovations, seniors housing, seniors active ageing programmes, productivity ideas and manpower challenges.

A total of 144 hours of industry trainings focuse on areas in 'Care Technology Innovations: Products, Health and Operations, Clinical Innovations: Dementia, Rehab and Care, Facility Innovations: Seniors Housing, Health, Aged Care'. During the senior living week itself, we showcased and shared 30 successful and sustainable senior living with care models and best practices.
