Mrs Pauline Ong is an Active Ageing Advisor for ASPIRE55. Originally from Shanghai, has lived in Singapore since 8. A pharmacist from, then, University of Singapore, has had worked in London with Boots. 1971-1976, changed her career to DBS. In 1978, returned to her profession, built Guardian Pharmacy (of Cold Storage Group) from one to a chain of 63, and a trading arm. In 1992, set up own consultancy, and was much sort after by Asia’s retail pharmacy chains. 1998-Dec 2016 she switched her energy and studied to be a volunteer museum guide (Docent) at 5 of NHB Museums and Indian Heritage Center. From 2002, is Advisor (especially for patients’ rights and care ) to Alexandra, and Khoo Teck Puat Hospitals . 2017-2019, Co-Chaired Place Making Committee of Woodlands Health Campus ( ready 2022). In 2005, was awarded the Distinguished Science Alumni (NUS). Pauline, a grandmother, sings with two Methodist Choirs.
