About this Speaker

Vintage Radio SG is the Official Media Partner of the Ageing Asia 2020 - World Ageing Festival

VintageRadio.SG is a not-for-profit social enterprise that provides a digital service that is available online and via mobile apps that are designed for Seniors, aged 60 and above, to keep them informed, entertained and engaged.

Through the digital app, VintageRadio.SG pulls together popular multi-lingual music from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s to ignite a connection with Seniors. Music that is no longer heard on the Singapore airwaves, old tunes that are nostalgic and identifiable, rekindle precious memories to get them reconnected emotionally. On a deeper level, VintageRadio.SG seeks to help bridge the digital divide so that our older generation is able to keep up with the evolving digital world. We are more than a music channel. The app will serve curated content that would enable Seniors a seamless and easy way to be online and explore the digital world while the music keeps them company. Through our pool of veteran presenters whom they are familiar with, Seniors will also be guided on the app’s content and navigation. Building confidence is key to encouraging our digitally disconnected Seniors to embark on their digital journey. With Seniors coming onto the VintageRadio.SG , useful and important information can be effectively communicated to them and their caregivers, i.e. during this pandemic, explain COVID-19 news & safety measures, provide multi-lingual accurate and timely information. VintageRadio.SG Ltd was conceived to provide relief to the Seniors community (aged 60 and above). VintageRadio.SG Ltd is registered as a CLG and is modelled as a not-for-profit social enterprise. All profits from the business will be channeled back into the further development of the channel to maximise its potential as a channel for Seniors.
