Mark has a family background of leading health and aged care design and management for over 60 years. He worked in health and aged care for 27 years. He worked as PA and speech writer in Federal politics for the Shadow Federal Health Minister for 3 years 1990-1993. As Executive and Operations Director of the Moran Health Care Group 2001-2011 he fully restructured his family company of over 60 residential aged care and retirement villages, creating $330million dollars of realised asset value. He has served as a Director of the Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation since 2004. Mark set up and ran the Moran Arts Foundation for 24 years, 1988-2013, expanding it into photography and facilitating many thousands of Australian school children through its programs. In 2011 with his wife Evette he established the Mark Moran Group which has received the highest accolades in both Australia as well as internationally for design and standards set in the delivery of seniors and aged care services.
